Story Circle

                                                                                           Story Circles 

 A story circle is a physical representation of the escalation of a story. Instead of presenting events in a linear sequence, it can be made into a circle to better show how all parts of the story can be connected back to each other. Stories can be broken down into main parts which fit into specific parts of the circle in this order: you, need, go, search, find, take, return, and change. 

These are the elements that I included for my story circle 

You - Girl 1 & 2 have an argument 

Need - A chain reaction of explosion are set off in space (supernovas, planets explode, etc). 3 days until the explosions will begin in our solar system. 1 day likely remains once it reaches our galaxy. 

Go- Girl 1 who is an existentialist, believes that since life has no inherent meaning she has to create her own purpose, wants to make up with Girl 2 for selfish reasons. Girl 2 is a nihilist and starts to not care about what she is doing/ what is happening 

Search- Girl 1 meets people with different ideologies while trying to find girl 2, is disrespectful to them

Find- The girls meet back up and try to keep living their normal lives as best as possible, without seriously addressing the issue 

Take- Another fight 

Return- world has basically collapsed into anarchy as people panic 

Change- they meet again in the last hours (open ending/doesn't explicitly say what ideology is better)
